I am currently a double major in Computer Science (Human Computer Interaction) and Music (Piano Performance) at Stanford University. I enjoy designing things in both music and in code. Thus, I love making cool things, whether if it is on the piano or in a game.
To me, computer science is more than just engineering - it is also about artful and creative thinking. As such, I believe that having an intuitive visual interface is just as important as having an efficient and fast program. The ideal application, in my opinion, is one that both effective and extremely easy to use.
I also love music, as I act as an interpreter, transforming ideas into a written score, and printed notes into beautiful music. It is an avenue for self expression - one that transcends languages and time.
My other hobbies include travelling with friends, eating food, bicycling, and collecting postcards from around the world. I also speak Chinese and a bit of Japanese as well.
